Neigh Dude Moves to 16th on Exclusive First Dude List

Neigh Dude, one of First Dude’s biggest bargains at the sales, jumped up one spot on his sire’s exclusive $200,000 list after a powerful finish in a 6 1/2-furlong test at Parx Racing. The $2,000 Timonium October yearling bred by Porter Racing Stable earned a check for $18,000, jumping his career total to $328,412, and landing him in 16th place on the exclusive list.

Andy Hernandez was aboard Neigh Dude, who was coming off three straight third-place finishes and was sent off at odds of 4-1 and he paid $10.60. Hernandez got him off sixth, but Neigh Dude quickly rushed up to be a contending third in the three path. From there, he took the lead entering the stretch and drew off late to prevail by three lengths, clocked in 1:18.29. He raised his record to 15-10-9 in 55 starts.
