Friday was a memorable day for Double Diamond runners, with the Dizney colors making one winner’s circle visit, and adding two long shot thirds.

It began with the second race at Ellis Park, where Et Al finished third at odds of 13-1 and collected a check for $5,178. Seven races later, Gerber Daisy also finished third, at odds of 29-1, and banked $9,580. Little Opal completed the afternoon, winning the second race in a romp at Del Mar, paying $7.40 and earning a check of $48,000. Total take for the three races – $62,758.
