Bahamian Squall Filly Gets 2nd Victory at Charles Town

Tator Made scored her second victory in six starts last night at Charles Town, carrying Reshawn Latchman to the wire 2 1/2-lengths in front in a 4 1/2-furlong test that went in a quick :52.97.

The 3-year-old daughter of Bahamian Squall earned a check for $16,440 in the $27,400 allowance race, raising her total for just six races to $37,529. The filly bred by Taylor Smith didn’t race at two.

Tator Made was off third on the inside, made a sweeping move on the turn, then drew away with authority and returned a $9.60 mutuel. Bahamian Squall’s progeny earnings for 2023 are less than $3,000 from reaching $600,000.
