Channah Del Mar picked up her first victory of 2025 with a come-from-way-back score in a $38,000 allowance race over a sloppy track at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
Joseph Ramos was aboard the 4-year-old Indiana-bred daughter of First Dude, who was ninth early in the race at one mile, then made a strong run to the wire to win by four lengths, clocked in 1:38.93. The $12,000 OBS June 2-year-old bred by Casey Seaman came off a pair of seconds, but still paid $13.00. She earned a check of $22,800 for owner/trainer Raymond J. Paquette, and she passed a milestone with career earnings of $104,180 on a record of 2-5-4 in 18 starts.
